Lump Sum Distributions No Longer Deducted From Unemployment Benefits

As a result of recent US Department of Labor instructions and Governor Ted Strickland's signing of Executive Order 2009-22S and effective with payments made on or after 11-01-2009, lump sum distributions from pensions, retirement plans, 401(k) plans, or annuities will no longer be deducted from unemployment benefits.
