Ohio SHRM Legislative Conference - April 20, 2010 - Register now!

 

 

On April 20, 2010, HR Professionals from across the State will have the opportunity to learn about Ohio’s HR-related legislation by attending the Ohio SHRM Legislative Conference.

 

Planned topics for the day include a State update, presentations on worker’s compensation and unemployment law as well as OSHA, comp time and sexual orientation legislation.  There will also be a special Federal update.
Scheduled speakers include:

 

  • Robert Carragher – Manager of Governmental Relations, SHRM
  • Anthony Seegers, Esq. – Director of Labor and Human Resources Policy, Ohio Chamber of Commerce
  • Seth Briskin, Esq. – Chair, Labor & Employment Group, Meyers Roman Friedberg & Lewis
  • Tony Fiore, Esq. – Lobbyist and former Director of Labor and Human Resources Policy for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce
  • Rebecca Kopp, Esq. – Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP

 

Attendees will also have the option of participating in scheduled meetings with their State Legislators. More information to follow.
